Overview and purpose

Triton communications is an independent corporate communications and consulting firm contracted by The Radlinx Group to conduct a comprehensive survey of its clients. The Radlinx Group is an Irving, Texas bases firm specializing in off-site teleradiology systems for hospitals, medical groups and radiologists practicing on the solo basis. The Radlinx Group designs, installs, staffs and manages systems that allow its clients to send diagnostic images such as x-rays, CT scans and other images to off-site radiologist for interpretation. The Radlinx Group's clients use the firm's service to send images to off-site radiologists during night, weekend, or daytime hours.

The Client Assessment Survey was intended to determine how well The Radlinx Group was fulfilling its mission to provide its clients with high-quality, cost-effective and reliable off-site radiology services.

Methodology

Triton Communication mailed or faxed the Client Assessment Survey to 65 hospitals, medical groups, or solo physicians using The Radlinx Group's off-site teleradiology services in January, 2004. Radlinx Group clients were asked to rate the firm's service in a variety of areas, using the following scale:

  • A = Excellent
  • B = Good
  • C = Average
  • D = Unsatisfactory

Thirty-four completed surveys were received through the month of January, 2004, for a response rate of 52%.
